Discovering Solutions for the Moving Forward in Senior Dining“Moving Forward” Work Group Forming
As the COVID-19 curve gradually flattens, like restaurants, senior culinary operations will later phase into offering tableside service under “new normal” guidelines. But as residents return to dining rooms, there are many questions and challenges to consider.
Taking a proactive approach, SDA is launching a Senior Dining "Moving Forward" Work Group, a collaborative think tank of operators from a variety of senior living communities. The goal will be to share ideas, brainstorm, and discuss how to return our communities, residents, and foodservice teams back to whatever the new normal will be - with questions such as:
We will meet 2x per month for 1.5 - 2 hours per session. This will give us time to collaborate and share information without the pressure of time.
